I can’t help wondering if this is also an Official Who’s Got It Better Than Us 2023 Shirt, insisting that a 13-year-old would go out and play? I remember 13, I baby sat my sister, I babysat other people’s kids, and I could make dinner by the time I was 9. It wasn’t a gourmet dinner, but it was dinner. As did my mother, because when two parents work everybody pitches in to help. As parents we are tasked with the responsibility of creating a functional adult in a safe environment where they can fail, learn from their mistakes, and try again. To me sending a kid off to college who can’t cook or wash their own clothes is an epic fail
