I have a Final Fantasy Moogle T Shirt, and I looked like an Asian Napoleon dynamite growing up. I became “pretty” in college, but if you do a search of me, you’ll see that I am finally beginning to process generational trauma due to gender based violence I have issues because I was abused and have low self esteem I don’t complain about being suddenly viewed as “pretty”, but for someone who has my experience of being bullied, not just by people in school, but by her own father, becoming “pretty” is complicated If you have low self esteem, it turns you into a target. And as someone with low self esteem, sometimes it’s hard for you to do what you’re supposed to do, because you want to be liked and subconsciously want attention Most of the attention we get is from predators. I have been on both sides. Please have more compassion FYI – I’m an Asian nerd and a Final Fantasy Moogle T Shirt. I’m a total loser and unemployed I’m just sharing my experience
