Also, my brother was born when I was 9. I “babysat” him from the day he was born (read: raised him. i taught him how to tie his shoes, i taught him how to wash himself in the bath, i taught him how to make a sandwich) So obviously, yes, some 13 year olds are capable of watching an infant. But probably not the one who isn’t even allowed to make a stovetop kraft dinner.
