Many people assume fascism or authoritarianism is mobilizing in the USA, not realizing that it’s something much, much worse. The thing that separates totalitarianism from fascism and authoritarianism is a spiritual element. This element becomes the core of the movement, for all the wrong reasons. Hitler himself even once said: “Any violence that does not spring from a spiritual base will be wavering and uncertain, it lacks the stability which can only rest in a fanatical outlook.” Evangelicalism is the spiritual element in the MAGA mobilization. What’s happening in America is far worse than anyone could expect. The Nation with the most money, the largest military, and the biggest nuclear arsenal are about to become a totalitarian nation akin to Hitler’s Germany and Stalin’s Russia. Russia and Iran have joined together, I’m assuming with China and North Korea to follow. If the USA becomes a totalitarian state, we’re looking at a new world order.
